PLC BASED

SIMOTION C is a motion control unit with the S7-300 structure. SIMOTION C can be used extremely flexibly. In addition to the already integrated interfaces, peripherals from the SIMATIC S7-300 module series can be added to the motion controller, scoring points wherever maximum flexibility in drive selection is required.The PLC-based system can handle a wide range of processor signals and can also manage high-level motion control functions such as path interpolation and distributed gearing.

SIMOTION D
DRIVE BASED

The drive-based motion controller SIMOTION D integrates motion control, technology and PLC functions directly into the drive. High machine cycle speeds, repeatable product quality, significant cost savings and reduced space requirements in the control cabinet are among the most important advantages. SIMOTION D requires around 50 percent less space than a conventional PLC with separate drive control. This makes the system ideal for distributed or modular automation solutions, especially in complex machines that require time-critical axis synchronization.

PC BASED

The PC-Based SIMOTION P motion control system combines the ruggedness and openness of an industrial PC with full motion control capabilities. Since the IPC design does not use rotating components such as fans or hard drives, SIMOTION P is ideal for harsh conditions. The wide range of PLC and motion control functions makes it suitable for a wide range of applications and the open Windows operating system makes integration easy. It offers excellent flexibility in the choice of operating system and processor, mounting options or a wide range of communication interfaces.
